🔥 RAYAC IS MOVING — AND WE WANT YOU IN THE ROOM! 🔥

The 10th Episcopal District RAYAC is taking the next step, and this is bigger than an event. This is about building a movement.

Our RAYAC Annual Days are coming to each of our four Annual Conferences, and we are calling EVERY young adult, ages 18–45, to come out, connect, learn, worship, fellowship, and most importantly—GET INVOLVED!

This year, we’re not just asking you to attend. We’re asking you to STEP UP.

We are preparing to formally organize RAYAC at the Conference level, and we need young adults who are ready to:

✨ TED Tuesdays Spotlight ✨

Meet Rev. Deon Collins, Historian of the TED E-Board! Currently serving as Pastor of Mount Pilgrim AMEC in the Texas Conference, Rev. Collins brings a unique blend of professional expertise, pastoral leadership, and a passion for connecting people to purpose.

A Laboratory Manager in the oil and gas industry specializing in pipeline performance, Rev. Collins understands the importance of building strong systems that foster growth and sustainability—skills that translate seamlessly into his ministry and leadership.

Originally a member of Anderson Chapel AMEC in the Northwest Texas Conference, Rev. Collins has continued to answer God’s call through his pastoral appointment at Mount Pilgrim AMEC in the Texas Conference. His journey reflects a deep commitment to serving wherever God leads and helping strengthen the connectional church.

What excites him most about the work ahead is seeing young adults become more engaged, connected, and active throughout the 10th Episcopal District. He believes the growth and interaction of young adults will help shape a stronger future for both the district and the church.

And here’s a fun fact—during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rev. Collins learned how to knit! 🧶

We are grateful for leaders like Rev. Collins who help preserve our history while investing in our future. Through his leadership, dedication, and passion for ministry, he helps ensure that the story of RAYAC continues to be written for generations to come.

✨ TED Tuesdays Spotlight ✨

Meet Gordon M. Rodgers II, Public Relations Chair of the TED E-Board! Representing St. James AMEC in San Antonio within the Southwest Texas Conference, Gordon brings creativity, vision, and an undeniable passion for connecting people through ministry and media.

A gifted Beauty Stylist and Makeup Artist, Gordon has built a career in the beauty industry centered around helping others recognize the beauty that exists both inwardly and outwardly. Through his God-given gift of makeup artistry, he uses beauty not simply as enhancement, but as a form of empowerment, confidence-building, and service to others. His passion for uplifting people shines through every interaction, making his work both transformative and deeply meaningful.

Gordon also previously served as the 10th Episcopal District YPD President, where his leadership and dedication to young people helped cultivate connection, growth, and renewed energy throughout the district.

He is excited to help rebuild and strengthen the presence of youth and young adults within the 10th Episcopal District, while helping make the district an example across the Connection of how ministry can evolve, grow, and come back stronger than ever before.

And fun fact—you may have already seen him around San Antonio! Gordon is featured on an Anti-Racism mural that honors Black men from all walks of life. ✨
