Bethel Church was founded in 1950 by Rev. Bethel Church became affiliated with the World Bible Way Fellowship Inc in the mid 1960's while Rev. Wendell Dunn was pastor. Pastor Dunn guided Bethel 35 years. Through his leadership the church property was paid off. For several years a radio program featuring The Bethel Singers filled the airwaves. Additionally, a Third Sunday Singing was very popular f

or many years. Pastor Dunn’s health took a toll on the ministry in the 90’s. Rev John Barrett pastored from 2002-2007. In July of 2008, (son-in-law) Rev. John Abbey and family made the move (after 35 years of multiple ministry positions at Faith Temple in Killeen) to Bethel as permanent pastors. Starting with a handful, the little church again became ‘a house full'! (Land-locked) the need for more room became a desperate prayer. In 2018 God opened a BIG door for Bethel. Bethel was unexpectedly deeded the property and the church building here at our current location at 997 Stage Coach Line Rd. After total renovation of the existing building we have room to more than double in size. State of the art equipment (audio / video) provide the means for quality ‘Live-streaming’. In addition to a powerful ‘in church’ experience! All completed debt free! The second phase ‘(an educational annex) will be the next step - The kids area will be attractive and appealing to little Christians! We still maintain ownership of the original church and property and have it leased to a wonderful Spanish ministry which is doing well! If you miss church ‘more like it used to be’ but also enjoy the best of the ‘new’ you may find Bethel is just what you are looking for! Welcome Home! Bethel Church Worship Center!
