Loving God doesn’t mean your mind will never struggle.
It doesn’t mean anxiety won’t show up.
It doesn’t mean depression won’t knock on your door.
It doesn’t mean you’ll never battle intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, overwhelm, or exhaustion.
Faith doesn’t make you immune to being human.
Some of the strongest believers in the Bible wrestled with fear, grief, despair, and deep emotional pain.
So if your mind is struggling, it doesn’t mean you’re failing God.
And if you need help, it doesn’t mean your faith is weak.
God isn’t disappointed in you for going to therapy.
He’s not ashamed of you for taking medication.
He’s not keeping score of how much help you need.
Sometimes healing looks like prayer.
Sometimes it looks like opening your Bible through tears.
Sometimes it looks like sitting in a counselor’s office.
Sometimes it looks like taking the medication that helps your mind finally breathe again.
The same God who performs miracles is the God who gives wisdom to doctors, counselors, and caregivers.
You are not less faithful because you’re struggling.
You are not weak because you’re tired.
You are not broken because you need support.
You are human.
And even in the middle of the battle happening inside your mind, God is still holding you, loving you, and walking with you through it.
You don’t have to choose between faith and help.
Sometimes help is one of the ways God answers the prayer.
