Bearing The Infirmities of The Weak

Romans 15:1 So those of us who have a strong ⌞faith⌟must be patient with the weaknesses of those whose faith is not so strong. We must not think only of ourselves.

Those who are strong meaning, those who are strong in their understanding of the implications of gospel liberty ought to bear the infirmities of the weak instead of pleasing themselves.

Looking down our nose at those whose understanding does not match ours are considerate not to
Godly.

The welfare of our brethren is to take precedence over our personal privileges.

Rather than pleasing ourselves by eating whatever we want, even in the presence of a brother whose conscience is troubled over our ham or crab,

We should also be considerate of the infirmities, of others and refuse to partake of anything that would harm them.

The spiritual well being of the weaker believers is to have a higher place in our list of priorities.

Therefore, we are to be looking for ways to please our brethren and to edify them.

The edification of the brethren, is to be more important to us than the assertion of our own rights.

Thank God For Jesus.

Everything We Have Is Because of God

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

God is the original fountain and source of life. He is the giver of life and breath, we owes all the qualities and capacities of life to Him.

Jesus spoke in Luke 20 that He is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him. Believers experience the fullness of life through a relationship with God in Jesus Christ.

Jesus, who is God in the flesh, is the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Him receives His life and He gives life to anyone He wants.

Our strength, both physical and spiritual, comes from God, who gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

If in Him we move, all that we do ought to be done in love because God is love. As we depend on God, every move we make should be carried out for the glory of God.

Life is a gift. We owe our continued existence to God He upholds us every moment; He sustains us by His powerful Word.

We are all created by God, and in Him all things hold together, we cannot exist apart from Him.

Our entire existence depends wholly on Christ in our life

Trust in God Alone He Will See You Through

Psalm 33:21-22 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee

In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.

May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O LoRD, even as we put our hope in You.

We all need security. When difficult situations threaten to overwhelm us, most of us lean heavily on family and friends for help and support.

But this short lesson reminds us that, in the long run, only the Almighty God can protect and save us through Jesus Christ

It is fitting to admit our dependence on the Lord when we come to Him in prayer.

Remember that He is our Shield and Protector. As we focus on this wonderful truth, our fear will turn into praise.

Stop from what you are doing for a few minutes and think about the ways in which you seek security, in both big and small situations.

God knows what you're going through now and in the future, and he knows the best way to handle every situation

When you are feeling some kind of way just say Lord Jesus, my hope and salvation is in you.

Surround us with Your unfathomable love and protection in Jesus Name

Thank God For Jesus

What Does It Mean Faith Without Works Is Dead

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Many believers have spiritual life, yet they are spiritually sick. They attend church to hear what the preachers has to say leave feeling good about his prescription. but remain spiritual because they don’t swallow the medicine.

Those who believe in God choose to obey His commands and willingly forsake their former, sinful ways.

As one submits to the Lord, their hearts are changed. Their desires begin to mirror their deeds reflect His heart for the world.

Deeds are the evidence of a heart that has been transformed and renewed by God.

A follower of Christ who is obedient, and committed to God’s way will naturally bear good fruit in their lives.

A heart that is continually being transformed into the likeness of God will reveal itself through actions.

As Christ said, no good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit.

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart.

Those who are willfully disobedient and continually sinful reveal a faith that is stagnant or even dead.

Many will be surprised in the end to learn that their faith was never real to begin with.

A life absent of good works and good fruit will often indicate a faith that is dead.

Thank God For Jesus

Greetings In The Name of Jesus
(The Living Word))

What Does It Mean To Hide God’s Word In Our Heart.

Ps 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

The heart is that private place where inner secrets are stored, and personal treasures are carefully hidden.

The most precious book in the whole, wide world is the Bible. its contents are profitable for godly living.

Its benefits are manifold and valuable for sound teaching and righteous reproof.

It is necessary for correction and training in righteousness.

The heart is that extensive personal chamber of our innermost mind. It is the place in which to store the Word of God.

It is our heavenly treasure, through time and into eternity, where moth and rust will not spoil and thieves can never break in to steal it.

Nothing is of greater importance, hiding God's Word in our hearts, meditating, ruminating and memorising its content.

There is no more beneficial activity than reflecting, pondering and contemplating the Word of God, which is nourishment for the soul,

To do so will enable us to resist the accusations and taunts of the enemy, and. deter us from going astray.

Hiding the Word in our hearts is the most powerful antidote against sin, and is the greatest influence to live a holy and perfect life.

Day by day, let us hide more of God's Word deep within our hearts.

Thank God For Jesus

The Love of God

The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

As believers, we can know in our hearts that God is sovereign and strong.

We can believe that His plans for us, for our loved ones, are for good and that He has blessing in store as we follow after Him.

Yet often, when life presses and things feel stressed, when problems overwhelm, and hardships come our way, our focus gets blurred.

We somehow start to believe that it all depends on us.

Like maybe we blew it, messed up and got ourselves off the course from the road to success.

We spin our wheels trying to find a fast way out of difficulty.

We feel like it's up to us to make things happen. Stirring up action.

Trying hard to get one foot into an open door, or wondering why a closed one shut.

We start thinking that if we're not able enough, talented enough, brave
enough, that maybe God can't quite use us.

We forget, that the very God who created this entire universe, who holds the stars in place, and knows the exact number of hairs on our head, also knows our way.

That His favor rests on us as we seek after Him first, and He holds the power to cause things to happen in just a moment, that would otherwise take us years to do.

He can line up our pathways to cross with others He wants us to meet.

He can open doors that leave us surprised at how they open.

He can close doors that He knows are not the best for us.

He has a plan, in the good, and in every hard thing we face.

And often the greatest blessings come after the greatest times of testing.

Over and over through Scripture, we see story after story of when God turned around for good the difficult pathways of those He loved.

And He still works the same today, for He never changes.

We are children of the King. He is Sovereign and He reigns Supreme, giving favor, guidance, and blessings to all those who seek after Him.

And our prayers are powerful on behalf of our families and friends.

May His hand of mercy and grace, His presence of peace, be over every one of these who we love so much.

We may not be able to be with them every hour of every day. But He is.

We can’t see every struggle, every worry, every burden that may weigh them down. But He does.

And He is always there, carrying them, and us, straight through. He is a safe place and He is Mighty.

Intimacy with God through Prayer

Introduction:
To pray is to accept that we are, and always will be wholly depend on God for everything.” There is nothing more important or enriching than having a personal relationship with God.

When you take time to walk with God each day through prayer, your relationship will grow with him.

Philippians 4:6 Living Bible (TLB)

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.

As Christians, we are called to pray. While many of us strive to have an active prayer life, growing in intimacy with God is a challenge for many Christians, simply because we haven’t received guidance in how to make prayer genuinely meaningful.

Simply put, we were never really taught how. Yet, there’s hope, particularly when we enter a practice of prayer that works for us, and we are intentional about it.

If you’re looking to grow in your relationship with God, it’s important that you understand what prayer is.

God comes to us first or we would never reach out to him.” Many of us are programmed to believe that we are the one’s seeking God, when God is really the one seeking us before we even raise our prayers to Him.

“Prayer as a spiritual gift is a genuine, personal conversation in reply to God’s specific, verbal revelation,”. When we understand God better, we pray better.

While many of us engage in conversations that are relatively superficial, engaging in prayer with God can be more than that. We can exchange information without much self-disclosure.

Some conversations, however, go deeper and we sense that both of us are revealing not just information but our very selves.

The conversation then becomes a personal encounter, a true connection.” This is the relationship we hope to have with God through prayer, seeking God through deep, meaningful, open and connected conversations.

Prayer is vulnerable. When we fully engage in this act, we begin to open ourselves up in ways that we may mask to the ones we are closest to.

The beautiful thing is that when we allow ourselves to go through engagement in prayer, we can develop a relationship so powerful that we sense fullness, a completeness that is hard to walk away from.

We should actively participate in prayer. Too many of us fall short by only lifting our concerns to God when we’re in situations of need and desperation.

Prayer is a duty and a discipline. “Prayer should be done regularly, persistently, resolutely, and tenaciously at least daily, whether we feel like it or not…We should pray when we feel like we’re not get anything out of it.”

No, this won’t always be easy. Prayer is always hard work, and often an agony. We sometimes must wrestle even in order to pray.

When those hours of the day come in which we should be having our prayer-sessions with God, it often appears as though everything has entered into a conspiracy to prevent it.”

How many of us can relate to this? We get sidetracked and tell ourselves later or tomorrow, and the time doesn’t ever really show up. Why? Because we’re not truly intentional about it.

But as Christians we are in constant need of prayer. There may be times where God grants us peace and tranquility, but we never outgrow a need to struggle and persevere in prayer.

There are different kinds of prayer we lift to God. There is ‘upward prayer – praise and thanksgiving that focuses on God himself.
We could call this the ‘prayer of awe.’

Then there is inward prayer –self-examination and confession that bring a deeper sense of sin and, in return a higher experience of grace and assurance of love.

That is the prayer of intimacy.
Finally, there is ‘outward’ prayer –supplication and intercession that focuses on our needs and the needs of others in the world.

This prayer requires perseverance and often entails struggle. Knowing the three types of prayer to God will help you better understand where your prayer focus is.

If you want to ultimately grow in our relationship with God, you have to self-examine and repent but not simply as a response to the sins you know we’ve committed, but as a way to continuously grow in your relationship with our Heavenly Father.

“Our prayer life is the place where we should examine our lives and find the sins that otherwise would be too insensitive or busy to acknowledge.

We should have regular times of self-examination, using guidelines that come from biblical descriptions of what a Christian should be.

If we want to better our prayer life, it’s imperative that we are in tune with the Scripture, studying and understanding where our spiritual fruits are.

These spiritual fruits can be anything from love, joy, patience, and self-control among others.

When we know what these fruits are in our lives, and we become in tune with them, we can then take the time for spiritual check-up and examination by engaging in those fruits during prayer and meditation.

We are taught as Christians that prayer is the most powerful way to experience God, but we fall short.

But when we work at our prayer lives daily and make it a point to be accountable with God, we begin to enter a space of full vulnerability and openness to receive God’s work in our lives.

Prayer is more personal and powerful when we accept prayer not as a daily or daunting task, but as a way of life.

When we strive for closeness with Him, we grow in our intimacy with Him and can ultimately deal with the everyday challenges we face.
