Journey's "Faithfully" captures the ache of distance and the power of commitment. No matter where the road takes you, no matter how far apart life pulls you, you remain faithful. You come back to each other. Every time.

In my counseling office, I see couples who live under the same roof yet feel miles apart.
The distance isn't physical.
It's emotional.
They've stopped being faithful with their attention, their affection, and their presence.
Faithfulness isn't just about avoiding an affair. It's about being fully present. Giving your best energy to your wife, not your leftovers. Choosing her first in your thoughts, your schedule, and your heart.

Jackie knows that no matter where my day takes me, my heart is always coming home to her.

That's faithfulness. Not just avoiding wrong, actively choosing right. Every single day.

Today’s food for thought from our Marriage Enrichment Ministry.

Commit your finances and your marriage to God today. Say together:
"Everything we have is yours, Lord. Show us how to use it for your glory."

GO DEEPER:

"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops." — Proverbs 3:9

Every dollar you have belongs to God. Every resource. Every paycheck. Every investment.

You're stewards, not owners.

When Jackie and I shifted from "our money" to "God's money," it changed how we spent, saved, and gave. Decisions became less stressful because we were managing His resources, not hoarding ours.

Stewardship removes the pressure of having to figure it all out on your own. God is the provider. You're the manager. When you invite Him into your finances, He brings wisdom you don't have on your own.

I've counseled couples drowning in financial stress who found freedom simply by surrendering their finances to God. Not a magic formula. A posture of trust.

Honor God first. Then watch Him multiply what remains.
