What an awesome opportunity for the community to come together! Tuesday, August 18, 6-7 p.m. at the new elementary school. We'll be there and encourage you to join us in praying over the West Holmes staff, students, families and facilities for:
Wisdom and Learning
- Our Prayer: Lord, grant our teachers wisdom and fill our students with a true love for learning and understanding."
- Proverbs 2:6: "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Peace and Protection
- Our Prayer: Father, remove anxiety from the classrooms and replace it with Your guarding peace over every student and staff.
- Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation... present your requests to God. And the peace of God... will guard your hearts and your minds."
Courage and Presence
- Prayer: Jesus, let every child and educator feel Your confident presence when they face hard tests, peer pressure, or fear.
- Joshua 1:9: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Love and Unity
- Our Prayer: Lord, build deep respect, kindness, and harmony among the students, staff, and families in this school community.
- Colossians 3:14: "And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
