PRAYER OF CONFESSION is an integral part of today's meditation/message:

"Merciful God, too often we see only what is on the surface.

We judge by appearance rather than seeking your truth.

We overlook those you have chosen,
and we fail to recognize your work among us.

Forgive us when we walk in darkness
instead of light.

Heal our blindness and renew our hearts.

Teach us to see as you see, and
lead us into the light of Christ."
