Many have asked, what happened to the picture behind the pulpit.
The picture now hangs in the Marathon Area Historical Society's Museum. It is located at Lovells field in Marathon, New York.
Here is a picture of where the drawing now hangs. As well as a write up with information about the artist.
For those of you wondering about the sale of the property. The property was officially sold on Monday April 13, 2026. We rest in knowing that God's work is bigger than a building. His truth and love will continue to be shared throughout the world.

We hope to see many old friends tomorrow at the Farewell service of First Baptist Church of Killawog.
We will be having time to give testimony and share memories about Killawog Baptist. We hope many will share!
There will be a luncheon after, please feel free to bring a dish if you would like.
As the church is sold there are many items that need a new home. Please don't be afraid to take whatever you, a family member, or a friend would like!
Things range from books and decorations to a desk and a couch. All of them need a new home.
We hope you will join us in the faithfulness God has given this church over the years and the work He continues to do.
