LAST RISE RECAP OF THE SCHOOL YEAR 🥳 Last night we had such a good time with you guys! We are so blessed to have spent most Thursdays this school year with you guys! 🥹 Our final Rise of the school year was at Colington sound and it was a great time of fellowship and fun! ☀️🌊 We had a time of worship and then heard a message from some of our senior interns, Saxon and Olivia! They spoke about their testimonies, what the Lord has been teaching them, and encouragement for the summer. 🤍 Olivia focused on the importance of not being lukewarm in your relationship with the Lord and trusting God’s plan. Last night she said, “it’s no longer God’s plan if you’re picking and choosing what you want.” God’s way is always best and He wants to walk with you! Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” She reminded us that while other paths can be tempting, God has better plans for your life than you could ever imagine! 🤍 Saxon focused on godly friendships, following God’s plan, and being a light for Him. Last night she said, “be the light; show everyone Jesus.” We are called to show people Jesus, they are all searching for Him, even if they don’t know it yet. You may lose friends, be left out, talked about or judged, but it’s all worth it if you know Him! 2 Timothy 2:22 says, “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” We were able to honor our seniors at youth group last night and we are so grateful for each and every one of you guys! There is no Rise this upcoming week, but there is church on Sunday! 😁 Let us know if you need a ride, we are here for you guys and love you so much! RISE UP 🫵💗

Rise recap ❤️ Last night was such a good night in fellowship with you guys! It was our last time meeting at the church for the school year, but we do have Rise next week! 👀 We played a fun game last night, ate some yummy food, worshiped and heard the word! We love that this is what our Thursday nights get to look like; we are so blessed by you guys! 🥹 Last night Ashly and Rylan brought the message, about being equally yoked. They spoke about what it looks like to be a man or woman of God and how that affects a relationship as well. They are about to step into the covenant of marriage this week, so please be praying for them! 🤍 Last night at Rise they were able to share some of their personal testimony about their relationship and how the Lord has showed up in their lives. They spoke on the importance of having your own relationship with the Lord before you get into a relationship. Knowing the Lord and seeking him draws you closer together. Ashly mentioned 1 Corinthians 13 where is says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” She asked us to put our name where it says “love” in those verses, are those statements true? 😮 The Lord will grow us and work on us, if we let Him and submit to His plan! This is an opportunity to grow with God. He should be the center of everything we do, especially our relationships! Surrender was a big point of Ashly and Rylan’s message as well, because is truly changes everything. 🙌 Give it to God, do what He asks you to do, and He will handle the rest. We serve a loving God and He has plans to prosper you, not to harm you, to give you a a hope and a future! Rise recap 🔥 Last night was such a good night of fellowship with you guys! 😁 We had a meal, played a game, spent time in worship and then heard the word. Pastor Josh brought a message that we have heard before, but that is always a good question to ask yourself - are you a fan or a follower of Jesus? 😮 Are you actually committed to Jesus or just go along with it when it’s easy and convenient? This message is not intended to shame anyone, but to call us all higher. When things get hard are you going to stand up and stand on the foundation of Jesus or are you going to follow others away from Jesus? Jesus invites us to come and follow Him, His yoke is easy and His burden is light! 🤍 There’s no other way but Jesus, nothing else will ever truly satisfy. Like Pastor Josh reminded us last night, ”this life is not a game.” It’s never too late to change the course of your life, Jesus is patiently waiting. Revelation 3:20 shows us this when Jesus says, “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” So even if you missed Rise last night, take a moment and examine your heart before the Lord. He loves hearing from you! We hope that this is a reminder that Jesus is the answer you’re searching for. 🫶 Romans 3:23-24 tells us, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” The Bible also tells us that His grace is sufficient for us and that His power is made perfect in our weakness, that’s some good news! We also had the privilege of praying over Caris and Ezra before they leave on mission for the summer. 🥲 We are so blessed to know and love them, please join with us in praying for their family and how the Lord will use them on mission! 🙏💕 We love you guys soooo much and can’t wait to see you on SUNDAY! 👀 Please reach out to a leader if you have any questions, let us know if you need a ride to church, and Rise up!! 🫵
