A week from today, we’ll be hosting the East Texas Preacher’s Fellowship for pastors, preachers, and laypeople from across the East Texas area.

If you’re retired, off work, or simply able to get away for the morning, we’d be honored to have you join us for a time of good fellowship, encouragement, and preaching.

We’ll hear from several different preachers throughout the morning, with each preacher typically preaching for around 20 minutes. We’ll begin at 9:00 A.M. and go to noon. After our first break, we’ll split into separate men’s and women’s sessions before lunch.

The women’s session will focus on encouraging pastors’ and preachers’ wives, but it is open to all ladies in attendance.

The men’s session will include a Q&A with several pastors, giving men an opportunity to ask questions about ministry, family, spiritual discipline, and other areas of the Christian life. We’ll also have more preaching.

If you’re planning to come, please let us know by commenting below or sending us a message directly. This will help us make sure we have plenty of food prepared for everyone.

We’re looking forward to a great time together and praying that God will use this fellowship to encourage and strengthen each of us in some special way!

Last Sunday Pastor started a new four week series, “There’s a Lot We Can Learn from Lot” on the life of Abraham’s nephew, Lot.

In this character study we are learning about much Lot but we are also learning much about God.

In the first message, we looked at Lot’s security. Although Lot’s life was marked by compromise and failure the Bible describes this man as being “just” and “righteous" in the eyes of God. Lot's salvation was secure.

Not only are we saved by God's grace but we are also kept by God's grace. We are not holding on to God; God is holding on to us. Although by the end of Lot’s life he lost nearly everything dear to him- Lot never lost his salvation!

Join us tomorrow for PART 2️⃣ “The Priority of Lot” as we look at the significance of our choices. Every step we take is either towards God or away from Him.

📚⛪️THIS Sunday we start a new Sunday School campaign with our realigned classes. We have greatly enjoyed our time in the split sessions we did over the summer and trust that these newly structured classes will also be beneficial and edifying as we continue to grow together in the Word of God.

🌱JUNIOR'S CLASS: ages 8-12
Taught by Mrs. Adrian Lennie, this class has been studying the purpose and function of the local church and how to grow in your faith.

👥CHOSEN GENERATION: ages 13-18
This Pre-Teen/Teen Sunday School class will be continuing their study, "Avoiding Confusion," taught by Bro. Cody Lake. In this class they our youth will learn how to look at the issues and challenges of today through a Biblical lens. Our young people need to know what the Bible says and how to apply its truth to the world in which they live.

🏔️FOUNDATIONS CLASS: ages 19-54
Bro. Randy Phillippe will be teaching this foundation and discipleship-type class, "12 Principles of Christian Growth," as we lay a solid Biblical foundation for our faith. We don't know what we don't know, so we're going back to the basics in this class—revisiting and reminding ourselves of the fundamentals of the faith upon which we can continue to build and grow.

🧭NAVIGATOR'S CLASS: ages 55+
Bro. Carl Schuck will be teaching this class as this group begins a study titled, "It's Not What You Think." This study will examine Biblical principles that often seem to be the opposite of what we naturally think or feel is right, principles like "The way up is down," "Loving your enemies," and "The last shall be first," and so on. It will be a challenging and thought-provoking study of how God's ways are often different from our own.

We have classes for ALL ages. We have a "Little's Class" led by Mrs. Ceil for ages 2-3, as well as, a class for the 4-7 yr. old's taught by Mrs. Barbara, plus we provide a nursery during Sunday School as well.

One of the BEST ways to better connect with people you go to church with is to get involved and faithful in Sunday School. These studies will help you develop in your walk with God and strengthen your relationship with those within the church.

Don't miss what God has for you in these classes- they meet every Sunday Morning at 9:30 A.M.

We are still THANKING God for how He met with us yesterday. Wow… you just had to be there! 🙌🏼 The services recently have just been extra special and we thank God for how He’s been at work as of late.

We enjoyed a wonderful time of food and fellowship after the Morning Service and then topped off the day with the blessing of hearing from our preacher boys.

But the greatest highlight of all, without a doubt, was seeing a young lady who has only been coming for a couple of months respond to the invitation and trust Christ as her Savior! 🙌🏼

God is doing some special things in our church, and we are so thankful for His blessings being poured out on us. To God be the glory!
