Bethlehem United Church of Christ Rooted in Jesus Christ, we are a loving congregation that experiences God in worship and through the Holy Spirit, embodies the Gospel in the world!

Friendly, is one word that describes us. We are a quintessential country church: we have lots of love to go around, a good number of the 'young at heart', and a lot of vibrant young families all who are bound together by the Holy Spirit. And we also love to eat and sing:)

Final day of Vacation Bible School was a blast! We finished our crafts and learned the rest of Psalm 23. We learned about highland cows, too. Did you know they can eat poison ivy without any issues? We played a couple outoor games and frosted shamrock cookies for our snack. Lastly, we did a couple experiments with water based on verses from our Psalm.
But one of the coolest things... we packed 100 bag lunches for the Salvation Army. The kids were great helpers.

Day two of Vacation Bible School - boy, did the kids bring the energy!
Today we learned about sheepdogs and Pastor Patrick read us the story of "The Good Shepherd." We sang our songs and learned the next verse from Psalm 23. That led us to learn about shadows and light. We also tried to create rainbows using a flashlight and a prism. Miss Brenda made us yummy fruit kebabs with the colors of the rainbow. Popcorn represented clouds. Lastly, Miss Tammie led us in two neat crafts. We painted our highland cows which we'll finish tomorrow, and made scratch-off animal masks.
