Had a dream last night.....
Robert and I knew someone personally who was a good friend. He was a christian rapper and we decided to put on a event for the youth in a town. It was by the water with activities, lights, food and so much more.
As the big day came, I could only think of my family wondering if they would come? Even throughout the event my family was all I could think about.
There were hundreds of teens and adults who came to participate, I was so worried about my priorities that I couldn't even enjoy it. By the the time it was over, I never even got to enjoy it because I stood by the gate....
There were some who came and had a blast with being refreshed with joy, communicating with others.
There were some who complained left angry. There were others who showed up as it was ending and very disappointed.
Then the ones who never even tried.
Man how this is so true in life...... When we recognize something big happening in the Spirit, how do you respond?
Do we miss it due to having our thoughts on our needs?
Do we show up with all expectations?
Do you come and it wasn't what you expected so you leave with gossiping about it, bitter and upset.
Or do you completely miss it all together because it's just not something your interested in?
We don't know what the future holds, but I know I don't want to miss it!!! God's going to use the ones ready to do something new. Even if your love ones aren't going to be apart of it. A world changer keeps looking forward, striving to do their best for the very reason why we have breath. Christianity isn't what it looked liked in the past, what worked then isn't going to work now. We need to be ready for those crazy ideas that are inspired by the Holy Spirit! Those that run with you will jump in the boat!
