CHURCH IS HAPPENING!: Communion Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 10 AM, in person or FB Live.

Our scriptures are Psalm 104, Matthew 18:12-20, and Pastor Grace's sermon is entitled, “The Grace of the World” after the last line of Wendell Berry's most famous poem. This week, it's a painted canvas of Beloved Community united with Creation, with God, with one another, and we'll come to Jesus's Table of Welcome and celebrate Eucharist.

Today, September 4, marks my one year anniversary as CCK's called pastor, and I couldn't be more joyful to be here together with you as we strive to do God's work of loving and serving. It's been quite a year of getting to know each other, learning, changes, and many, many Good Things! Thank you all for your love, trust, and support. Above all, I'm heartened by your faith and trust in the One who first loved us -- first, last, and always.♥️ I love the Keyport community and I love the folks of the Community Church of Keyport. To God be the glory.

Gracious Creator, we ask your blessing on every student -- from pre-school to med school -- at this new school year's beginning. Give them a thirst for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Open their hearts to illumination and the passion to persevere. Grant them the balance of time for proper rest and renewal. Lord, bless every teacher, staff, administrator, parent, and guardian so that we may join our efforts to Yours in safeguarding our children's emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. We ask all of this in the name of our Perfect Teacher, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Our Books & Bling Sale is back! And this time, it's SUPERSIZED! Join us for TWO days - September 12th & 13th - from 10-4 at the Community Church of Keyport, 25 Division Street.
We'll have books, games, DVDs, jewelry, Friends merch, and more! Children's books for only $.50 and adult books and everything else starting at only $1.00! Our Fill-a-Bag for $10 sale will be in effect all weekend.
Have something you'd like to donate to our big sale? We're accepting books, DVDs, board games, video games, CDs, and puzzles, as well as costume jewelry at the Keyport Public Library until September 7th. Donations can be made during regular business hours (please don't leave while the library is closed and do not put in the book drop), and please be sure to avoid donating damaged, dirty, or moldy books, and please no textbooks, magazines, audio cassettes, or out-of-date nonfiction.
