𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 + 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝗻! 🐛🛟

Mrs. Metcalf’s first graders had a busy week of learning, problem-solving and enjoying some time outdoors!

During their STEM lesson, students were given quite the challenge: 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗺’𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀! 🐛🛟

Working together, students had to think creatively and figure out how to help Fred. 💡

And when it was time for recess, our first graders headed outside to run, play and enjoy some fresh air with their friends! ☀️

🙏🌿 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 🙏🌿

Before welcoming our students back for a new school year, our Holy Trinity staff took time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. 💙

Our staff retreat at the Catholic Ecology Center gave us a beautiful opportunity to spend the day in prayer and reflection through Scripture, celebrate Mass led by Father Patrick, and enjoy an afternoon of creating art with ink forged from nature.

It was a day to nourish the mind, body, and soul and to prepare our hearts for the year ahead. What a gift to begin another school year surrounded by God's creation, in prayer, and together as a staff. 🌿🙏

As we begin this new year, may our hearts remain rooted in Christ and open to all He has in store for our students, our families, and our school community.

🖍️ 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀!✏️
Our 𝟯𝗞 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 spent some time learning and practicing the proper grip for pencils, markers, and crayons. After learning the “pincher” grip, they put their new skills to work by matching colors and drawing lines from the big circles to the little circles on their papers.

It takes practice to develop those 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, and our 3K students were up for the challenge! 💪

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲! 🤖✨ Our 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 got hands-on with science today as they built their own robotic fingers to investigate how muscles and bones work together to create movement!

Through a little engineering, a little creativity, and a lot of problem-solving, students discovered how muscles help control the motion of our bodies—and got to see those concepts in action right in front of them.

We love seeing our students ask questions, build, experiment, and figure things out for themselves! What an awesome way to learn! 👏💙

🥰 𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬 = 𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🥰 Our 7th graders have a very important new job this year—they’re 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀! 💙

The two classes had their first buddy get-together, and it was a blast! From a spirited game of Duck, Duck, Goose 🦆 to some seriously silly pictures 📸, these students wasted no time getting to know one another.

We have a feeling this is just the beginning of lots of fun, laughter, and memories together!

🌈📚 𝗦𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝟰𝗞! 🖍️🌈 There’s a lot happening in Mrs. Oechsner’s 𝟰𝗞 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺! Our youngest students are learning classroom rules and routines, discovering how to use their school supplies, making new friends, and—of course—finding plenty of time for fun on the playground! 🛝😊

What a wonderful beginning to their school adventure! We can’t wait to see all the ways these kiddos will learn and grow.

Mrs. Aurit’s 4th grade class has had an incredible first week of school! Students have been busy getting settled in, building their Reader’s Notebooks as they begin a 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺, and taking on a hands-on science engineering challenge.

It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork shining through! We’re looking forward to more fun, learning, and growth in the year ahead. ❤️

Mrs. Simon’s kindergarteners spent their first week getting to know one another, learning classroom and school expectations, and—of course—𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬! 🛝😊

From classroom adventures to time on the playground, our newest students are already beginning to build friendships, discover their new surroundings and feel at home at Holy Trinity.

What a great start to their Kindergarten journey! We can’t wait to see all the learning, growing and memories this year will bring. ✨

✏️💧 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 💧✏️ Inspired by the kind of hands-on science and engineering challenges made popular by Mark Rober and , Ms. Huiras’ 8th grade class put their science skills to the test with a deceptively simple question: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘀? 🤔

While it may look like just a fun experiment, there’s some fascinating science happening! Students explored the properties of polymers, made predictions, tested their hypotheses, and observed how the plastic material responded as they carefully added pencils.

Most importantly, they practiced what real scientists do—ask questions, make predictions, gather evidence, and use their observations to explain what happened.

Sometimes the best way to learn science is to get a little curious, get a little messy, and find out for yourself! ✏️💧

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭. 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞! 🕊️✨ Today we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Augustine, the patron saint behind our 2026-2027 school theme: "𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪." 🙏

Mrs. Muehlbauer brought faith, music, and art together as students identified musical rests to create these vibrant stained-glass Sacred Hearts—a perfect visual reminder of where true rest is found! 🎶❤️‍🔥🎨
