A Prayer on the Anniversary of September 11th
O God of all the nations,
As we again draw near to this day of remembrance, We confess, as your children, that the events of twenty years ago have not made us much wiser or enhanced our willingness to love one another without condition.
Walls still divide us, fear still separates us, and strangers seem stranger than ever.
Patient and loving God, look with mercy on your children as we remember and pray.
Nudge and guide us along the narrow way of Jesus, that we may be healed and become healers, helpers, and leaven for this good earth you have entrusted to our care. Help us to move beyond grief and fear, beyond
prejudice and the dangers of hollow patriotism, to embodying your witness of love for all people everywhere in all places and times. Amen.

Soul Sunday has staff alumni Skyler (2008-2011, and a few weeks here and there) bringing a donation he received from work for a charity of his choice. As you can see, he considers the staff shirt a regular part of his wardrobe! Thank you Skyler for bringing the check to Camp and taking some time to catch up with us!
