We're home.💙

After months of anticipation — and a little plot twist from the floodwaters — we are finally worshiping in our new building at 300 Spence Street. Our floors & walls took a hit, but we weren't about to wait any longer to gather in our new home.

If you've been curious about who we are or have been looking for a place to worship in Kerrville, we'd love to have you join us. It might take us a few weeks to settle in, but the door is open and you are always welcome.

Do we have flooring? Only in one area.🙃

Do we have intact drywall and baseboards in every room? Nope. 🫠

Are we absolutely still going to worship and praise the Lord? You better believe it.🙌

Our hearts are with our congregation and our community. 🤍

As a community, we are weary — weary of loss, weary of starting over. And yet, even in our grief, we do not despair. We are resilient. We are not alone. Our neighbors are with us, and our God is too.

Many of you know we have been eagerly anticipating our move into our new church home at 300 Spence Street and we were set to worship there for the very first time this Sunday.

The flooding had other plans. (And in one of those heartbreaking ironies, it wasn't the river that got us — it was the runoff.)

We have spent the last couple of days pulling up brand new flooring and figuring out our next steps.

We recognize the great need all throughout our community right now and are committed to serving our neighbors. We know many of you are trying to figure out the best ways to show up for those around you, and we encourage you to love your neighbors well.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our churchwide summer get-together and to those who graciously planned and hosted. This is what church family is all about!

Our April Ladies' Night Out took us on a little road trip to Comfort, TX — and it did not disappoint. 🌿🍔

We feasted at Both Hands Burger Bar then ventured over to Verde Haven where Summer, owner and plant whisperer extraordinaire, walked us through the art of plant health and helped us build our very own custom cacti terrariums.

The burgers were delicious, the plants were dreamy, and the company was the best, as usual. 💙
