We want to extend an invitation to join us here at the Riverside Church of Christ for our Summer Series! This summer we will be going over the theme of "Questions that demand answers".

Please join us on Wednesday nights starting at 6pm to hear the answers to some of the more difficult questions that we face in life, and through the reading of God's word.

Ministry Highlight!

With summer coming up, we want to encourage you to ensure your children are active and engaged in learning about the Lord! We have weekly Bible classes on both Sunday and Wednesday for kids of all ages We will be having monthly events, including VBS in July! We'll be having a Vacation Bible School starting July 19th-22nd, and we would love to have you here! More details and sign-up coming soon!

Ministry Highlight!

Local mission work is such an important part of the function of the body of Christ. The primary focus of local missions is the same as foreign missions, which is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ! Here at Riverside, we love having Bible studies. If you are in the area around Kerrville, and want to study the word of God, please reach out! The word of God has the power to change lives, and Jesus alone has the power to save!

We have multiple bible studies going every week, and we would love to have more!

This last Saturday, May 16th, the Riverside Church of Christ had the opportunity to host a ladies day. What a wonderful ladies day it was! The speaker, Becky Blackmon, came down to encourage the ladies of this church and community with lessons on singing in the rain. How can we sing even when it's raining? How can we have hope and be happy in the darkest of times? We hope that you will be blessed by these two lessons as much as those in attendance were!

We also hope you will join us next year for our next ladies day!

Ministry Highlight!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, we will be highlighting our incredible and service-oriented ladies. We have a ladies group that meets on Tuesday's for a Bible study. These ladies are such wonderful servants of the Lord, and they help not only this congregation, but the city of Kerrville and the community around it in many ways. Maybe you have been blessed by the precious saints at Riverside!

This upcoming Saturday, starting at 9am, we have a ladies day! This will include lunch, and it will be full of spiritual nourishment and encouragement. All ladies are invited, and we hope to see you here!

Good afternoon!

This upcoming Sunday is Mother's Day. As we worship God we will be thanking Him for one of the most beautiful blessings that we have been given, our mothers!

If you would like, in the comments, write out something that you would like your own mother to hear from you. Start the comment with "Dear Mom..." and then share something that you're thankful for that your mom has provided or given to you!

Then, join us this Sunday at 10am as we worship God and honor our mothers.

Ministry Highlight!

We have an incredibly active and fun group here at Riverside called the "Prime Timers". They have monthly meals together, they attend plays and various other events as a group. This group of lovely people is active and engaged not only in spending time with one another, but also in the ministry! They consistently help others in the congregation and seek to honor God with all they do. If you're interested in joining a group that is more like a family, then the Prime Timers are for you!

Ministry Highlight!

Here at the Riverside Church of Christ, we are thankful for the senior members who have blessed our congregation through years of faith, service, and encouragement. One meaningful way we seek to honor them is through our Senior Ministry—checking in on those who may be homebound, providing transportation when needed, sharing meals, offering help with small tasks, and most importantly spending time in fellowship and prayer. This ministry reminds us that caring for one another is a vital part of the Christian life. If you have a heart to serve, there are many simple but powerful ways to help—through a visit, a phone call, a meal, or a helping hand. Together, we can continue showing love and appreciation to those who have given so much.

Ministry Highlight!

We have a burning desire at Riverside to faithfully teach the word of God. We strive to have multiple options for adult bible classes on Sunday morning and Wednesday night. We have our Bible classes starting at 9am on Sunday and 6:30pm on Wednesday. This is one of the times in which we spend time with one another opening up God's word and growing closer to each other and to God!

We hope that you will join us this upcoming Sunday at 9am for our Bible class, and then worship to follow at 10am.

Ministry Highlight!

The first ministry that we're going to highlight is our foreign mission works. We have a very active mission program here at Riverside, where we are helping to support the spread of the gospel in a number of different countries and areas across the world! We have a mission table set up every Sunday right outside our auditorium with information from our different works.

We are supporting mission work in 5 different continents! What a blessing it is to be a blessing to those who share the gospel of Jesus Christ!

If you want to get involved in mission work, or helping those who do mission work, come and visit us on Sunday morning at 10am!
