In the Bible a man full of demons recognized Jesus instantly… but a man full of Scripture didn’t even know who He was.

In Mark 5:1–7, the demon-possessed man ran to Jesus and cried out, “Jesus, Son of the Most High God!”
But in John 5:39–40, Jesus told the religious leaders that even though they knew the Scriptures, they still couldn’t recognize the One those Scriptures pointed to.

It shows that you can have all the head knowledge in the world, but if your heart isn’t right, you’ll still miss Him. Demons knew Jesus, but religious pride kept people blind.

Knowing the Bible is good — but knowing Jesus is what truly changes you.

You have no idea what’s shifting because you pray. You think you’re just whispering words in your car. Just crying out in your closet. Just mumbling through tears you can’t explain.

But in the spirit?

Angels are moving. Chains are breaking. Destinies are being realigned. Demons are losing legal ground. Heaven is leaning in.

You’re not just talking. You’re warring. You’re building altars that will outlive you. You’re interceding for bloodlines that don’t even know they’re being covered.

Prayer is not a soft option. It’s a supernatural strategy.

That’s why the enemy fights it so hard. That’s why your phone buzzes when you kneel. That’s why your mind races when you try to focus.

Because prayer is the place of power.

James 5:16 (AMP) says,
“The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous believer can accomplish much when put into action and made effective by God, it is dynamic and has tremendous power.”

So pray tired. Pray empty. Pray unsure. Just don’t stop.

Because every time you prayHeaven moves. Hell shakes. And history changes.

Wildfire Update - May 15, 2026, 7:00 PM

Since yesterday, Texas A&M Forest Service firefighters and all assigned resources have responded to 18 wildfires, burning 55,850.5 acres statewide.

Fire potential is expected to increase across the High Plains through Sunday, May 17. Across the rest of the state, recent rainfall and greener vegetation are helping keep fire potential low for now.

By Monday, dry lightning chances will end as a cold front moves across the state, bringing widespread rainfall to the eastern two-thirds of Texas.
