Neighbors Helping Neighbors - our Mission here at Pisgah UMC. We have partnered with Mama Lisa’s Love Community Outreach in her efforts to help the homeless in our community. We enjoy preparing meals and providing snacks and supplies to Lisa to aide in her tremendous efforts to help those in need in our community. She is a blessing to these folks and we are happy to play a small part in her mission.

Please make plans to join us Wednesday 2/18 at 6:00pm for our Ash Wednesday service. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a 40 day period of fasting, prayer and reflection for Christians leading up to Easter. It’s a day of repentance symbolized by receiving ashes on the forehead in the shape of a cross.

Mark your calendars for Boston Butt pickup. If you ordered a Boston Butt from one of the Methodist Men next Saturday 11/15 is the pickup date between 2:00-4:00.

Our Methodist Men are currently selling Boston Butts. This is a yearly fundraiser which funds numerous projects throughout the year. If you would like to order one please see one of our Methodist Men. The cost is $30. If you have ever ordered one you are missing out. They are delicious.
