I love a good vacation. There’s something refreshing about stepping away from the usual schedules, cooking fewer meals, leaving the laundry behind, and simply enjoying time together as a family. Vacations can help us reset and return home feeling refreshed and ready to step back into everyday life.
But vacations are not the only place we find rest.
Trips are not always possible, but time with God always is.
God promises that his presence, and his Word will give us rest. And the rest he offers is even deeper than what a vacation can provide. It reaches straight to the heart. Instead of temporary relief or refreshment, his rest is lasting, life-giving, and eternal. So when you’re feeling exhausted, don’t plan the next thing, plan time in the Word of God.
