Triad Baptist Church Located in Kernersville, TBC is a place to worship & connect! linktr.ee/triadbaptisttoday

Founded in 1983, Triad Baptist Church is a family of more than 1,400 with a mission to guide individuals toward Christ both in the Piedmont Triad area and in more than a dozen countries. From our wooded, 90 acre campus in the heart of Kernersville, we seek to honor Christ by worshiping our living God, connecting with people, serving our community, and reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Visitors and members have described us as “friendly” and “Biblically sound!"

The many ministries directed by Triad have a united purpose. Whether it be our youth and children’s ministries, including the pre K-12th grade academy; worldwide missions outreach; our ministries for moms, for those grieving, for those with cancer; our Sunday evening seminars on practical topics such as managing finances, strengthening marriages, and parenting; the Connect Groups, which offer small-group support, fellowship, and teaching; or if it is any of our other many ministries; our goal is to build stronger relationships with God through our church and to make a difference in Kernersville and beyond. Stronger lives, stronger families, and stronger communities … it’s a never-ending journey of faith.

Behind every sermon, prayer, hospital visit, and word of encouragement is a pastor with a heart for serving God and loving people.

As we continue celebrating Pastor Appreciation Month, we want to recognize the faithful men who lead, encourage, teach, and walk alongside our TBC family through every season of life.

To our pastors, thank you for the countless ways you serve, including the many things that often go unseen. We are grateful for your dedication to God's Word, your love for His people, and your commitment to sharing the gospel.

TBC family, take a moment this week to encourage a pastor and let him know how much he is appreciated!

SUNDAY SERMON PREVIEW:
Your Giant-Fighting Days
2 Samuel 21:15–22

The aging and exhausted King David is nearly killed by the Philistine giant Ishbi-benob, but his loyal commander Abishai comes to his rescue and slays the warrior. Following this narrow escape, David’s men insist that he stay off the front lines so that the “lamp of Israel” is not extinguished.

In subsequent battles, David’s mighty men step up to defeat three remaining formidable descendants of the giants of Gath: Sibbecai the Hushathite kills Saph, Elhanan slays Lahmi (the brother of Goliath), and David’s nephew Jonathan strikes down an unnamed giant who had been taunting Israel.

Together, these victories illustrate practical principles that believers can apply when facing and defeating the giants in their own lives.
