Isaiah 42 was written between 700 to 680 BC, and approximately 650 to 700 years later Matthew 12:17-18 tells us that what Isaiah in chapter 42:1 was fulfilled with Jesus public Ministry.

Isaiah chapter 7 was written between 735 and 734 BC. In verse 14 of Isaiah chapter 7 he gives a prophecy to King Ahaz about the coming King who will be born for his name will be Immanuel and in Hebrew Immanuel means God with us.
This just shows us that God chose centuries before Jesus too revealed his plan to reconnect Humanity back to a relationship with him through Jesus before Jesus was born.

If we suffer for following Jesus...

Inner peace is ours in Jesus. He said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). While the world offers only trouble, threat, and danger, followers of Christ do not have to be anxious or afraid. We can be of good cheer because we belong to the One who overcame the world. Nothing in this world can harm us because we triumph through our Lord Jesus Christ in the end!
