Why did Jesus send Peter to cast a hook for a fish with a shekel in his belly? Is Jesus teaching we should pay taxes? Was it a new business model? No, neither option is viable. You should pay your taxes, but that's not Jesus' lesson here, and Jesus wasn't an economics teacher. So, why cast a single hook? See you Sunday!
