We must allow God to guide us through obstacles that could derail our path. Amidst our challenges, some will try to mislead us by distorting the truth. Sometimes, we allow outside influences to shape our views of others negatively. However, embracing perseverance empowers us to stay true to the word of God, even when temptations seek to divert our attention. In life's difficulties, let us remain steadfast with our focus on God. When people struggle, it can be hard for them to see what they are experiencing is temporary. Yet, God always shows up at the right moment, urging us to stop looking back and to focus on where He is leading us. In those moments, opportunities arise, and we find ourselves achieving and gaining remarkable things in our lives.

Wesley Covenant Prayer

I am no longer my own, but thine.
Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed by thee or laid aside by thee.
Exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
thou art mine, and I am thine.
So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
Let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.

FEELING DISCOURAGED, DEPRESSED OR EVEN DESPAIRING?
Helen Howarth Lemmel experienced the same when she was struck by a disease that caused her to go blind and as a result was abandoned by her husband. Yet amidst her situation she turned to Jesus and wrote over 500 hymns of praise and worship!
This beloved hymn came out in 1922. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."
