Human beings like to make things so much more complicated than they need to be. Jesus came and taught about the Kingdom of God. He made it so clear. He explained that there are two kingdoms: one is good and the other is evil; one is light and one is darkness; one offers life and the other produces death. And no matter what we've decided to believe ourselves, the words of Jesus remain the same...seek first the Kingdom of God. Let's continue this conversation on Sunday mornings in September at 10:00 at Faith Family Church, 425 Blondeau Street in Keokuk.

Loneliness is now considered a dominant health risk for Americans, with over 93% of the population stating that they experience real loneliness consistently. Scrolling through "social" media sites only compounds the problem. We wander into church, hoping someone will befriend us, but we often find ourselves surrounded by people who just like us, are lonely and looking for a friend, too. Fortunately, there are real answers in the Bible, so let's have that conversation about friendship, Sunday mornings in August at 10:00 at Faith Family Church, 425 Blondeau Street in Keokuk.
