Gems is a free program available to girls entering the 7th grade through high school. The session will meet at Heartbeat of Hardin County, 220 E Franklin St.., Kenton Ohio 43326. Sessions are from 9 am to noon on June 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th. with a special outing on June 19th for the day.

GEMS is self-esteem/mentoring program open to youth entering the 7th grade in the fall to 12th graders. Topics that will be covered include the importance of protecting your fertility, relationships, drug & alcohol awareness, self-esteem, and future goals. Classes will include discussions, videos, worksheets, crafts, and much more.

Girls will receive a gemstone bracelet and other items. The outing will include lunch and outing to some fun activity. Girls must attend all sessions to be able to attend the outing.

The program is limited to 12 girls and will be filled by in the order the registrations are received. We also need a minimum of 5 girls.
