Some places hold more than history. They hold the faith, sacrifices, and hopes of generations.

The Salt Lake Temple is one of those places.

After years of restoration and seismic strengthening, the temple will welcome visitors from around the world for a public celebration from April 5 through October 1, 2027. It will be the first time in more than a century that the public can step inside this historic temple.

Tomorrow, September 1, at 12:30 p.m. ET, the celebration theme will be announced and ticket reservations will begin.

As a woman of faith, I am moved by what this moment represents. Restoration is not only about preserving a sacred building. It is also about honoring those who came before us and strengthening what we hope to leave for those who come after us.
