Sometimes I feel stuck in my situation — like things are never going to get better. Those thoughts can leave me feeling defeated and can even spiral into depression. I have to remind myself that if something is going to change, it has to start with me. But honestly, there are days when I don’t have the energy or the strength to make those changes on my own.

That’s why I go to Celebrate Recovery.

Here, I’ve found people who point me to Jesus when I’m in despair, lift me up when I feel weak, and help guide me through the next steps until I can stand on my own again. Sometimes the only energy you need is enough to get yourself to a meeting.
