Christ the King Church is hosting Arnetta Griffin and God’s Kitchen on Saturday, 4/12 for a community outreach meal from noon–3 pm. Arnetta and her team of volunteers are serving a full meal, plus haircuts will be offered, and children will receive gift baskets. Please enter through the kitchen door off the church parking lot (60th and Sheridan.) Thank you, Jesus, for all of your gracious provisions. Will you help spread the word?

On Saturday, 3/30 from noon to 3 pm, Christ the King Church is hosting Arnetta Griffin and her God’s Kitchen army of volunteers for an Easter community outreach meal. It offers to those in need:
Fellowship
Hot meal
Haircut
Clothing
Easter basket
We're praying for an outpouring of Christian love at this lunch. What a joy it is for our church to host such an event!

With Christmas in the rearview mirror, tis the season for new year's resolutions. As you think through some new year's resolutions for 2023, here is a suggestion...get to know Jesus. That is, get to know the Jesus revealed in the pages of the Bible.

Why?

A lot of people form an opinion of Jesus based on what they have heard from others, but there is no substitute for learning about Jesus yourself from one of his official biographies - the Gospel of Mark.

You are invited to come to Christ the King Church on Thursday, January 12th from 6:30-7:30pm to be introduced to the most incredible person to have ever walked the planet: Jesus Christ.

If you come to Hello My Name Is: Jesus and realize that it is not for you, no problem - thanks for giving it a shot. But if you come and want to keep coming, we'll spend a total of 9 consecutive Thursdays getting to know the Jesus revealed in the Bible.

So make knowing Jesus one of your 2023 new year's resolutions and come join us on Thursday, January 12th!

What are you doing Christmas Eve?

Don't let a little snow or chilly temps keep you from coming to our Christmas Eve Service from 6-7pm Saturday! We'll be singing carols, reading of the birth of Jesus - our Prince of Peace - and closing our time singing Silent Night to candlelight.
