After serving with YWAM and leading the Honolulu training base, Billy has spent years equipping believers to step beyond the classroom and into the mission field prepared to share the Gospel.

But what keeps us from actually going?

Fear. What if I don't know what to say? What if someone asks a question I can't answer? What if I don't have what it takes?

Billy and Steve tackle those fears head-on and offer practical helps for overcoming them and becoming more confident in sharing your faith. They discuss how to prepare yourself, how to depend on the Holy Spirit rather than your own ability, how to respond when you don't have all the answers, and why praying for boldness is essential to effective evangelism.

The message is simple: we are inadequate—but Jesus never asked us to do His work in our own strength. The Holy Spirit is our source of power and boldness.

Looking at the example of the early Church and Paul's own request for prayer, they challenge believers to stop waiting until they feel qualified or fearless and start faithfully making the Gospel known.

What is revival?
The word is used everywhere today—at worship conferences, evangelistic events, and
even in political conversations. But does the Bible define revival the way we do?
In this episode, Matt Lewis and Steve Whinery explore the biblical meaning of revival
and why it begins long before crowds gather or churches grow. Looking throughout
Scripture, they show that revival isn't primarily about emotional experiences or large
movements—it's about God's people being brought back to life through repentance,
obedience, and a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ.
Steve challenges the common misconceptions surrounding revival, explaining that while
evangelism and spiritual awakening can be the fruit of revival, true revival starts within
the Church. Before God works powerfully through His people, He first desires to work
deeply in His people, preparing hearts that are surrendered, set apart, and available for
His purposes.
If we long to see our families, communities, and nation transformed by the Gospel, it
begins with believers who are willing to seek the Lord wholeheartedly and do the things
He asks them to do. This conversation is a timely reminder that God still desires to work
