Two of our youth (Saren and Harley) and one of our volunteers (Brandon) went to Thailand last week and are on their way home today! Pray for safe travels and come join us at church on Sunday to hear all about their amazing trip partnering with our house church missionaries (The Pongpas)!

Honorable mention shout out to Sara Pepper too who is a youth group alum!

As most of you know, Sunday was Pastor Robby’s last day as student pastor. Robby and Lisa will continue to attend as members, but the Lord has gone before us and prepared a new man for the job!

Our church personnel committee, the youth leadership team (Austin, Carson, and Starnes families), and Pastor Nik have been working and praying hard towards the next person to lead this ministry. God has provided and the church will be introducing our next youth and family pastor on Sunday, July 16!

We are very excited for you to meet him and his family. We believe that God has ordained this and prepared the way. We give God the glory for it all! Praise be to Him who provides all our needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus! (Phil 4:19)

Provision not punishment. Though none of us likes to wait… sometimes God is protecting us from ourselves knowing if we had the answers or the results now we would get in our own way. Trust in Him. It’s not easy. In fact, it’s hard because it means putting God first before ourselves. Ouch. We think we’re doing that already right? But if we are really introspective we’ll see that the reasons we want immediate results is selfish, not because we trust God and His plan for us. Take a step back and allow the Lord to take on your burdens. You’ll see that His yoke is easy and his burden is light. (Matt 11:28-30)
