CONSIDER THE LILIES
Stained Glass Window at Saint Ann's By The Sea's Old Stone Chapel.

Gift of Ellen K Brazier in 1889.
Ellen is believed to be a Parishioner from Philadelphia PA.

The cornerstone for Saint Ann's Chapel was laid on August 22, 1887. Five years later construction was completed, and the church was debt-free. The church was consecrated by The Rt. Rev. Henry Adams Neely, DD, Bishop of Maine, on August 24, 1892. Since that date, the church has been used as a summer chapel without interruption.

Our 2026 Summer Season runs June 14 thru September 20. We hope you will join us in Kennebunkport!

This Stained Glass Window of the Cross is one many people miss. (It is one of my favorites!)
It is in the Bell Tower up high in the organ loft. Surrounded by beautiful stone work. Best admired from up front near the Altar on a sunny day.

Original to the Old Stone Chapel.
