We thank God for the opportunity to join together with this young student and his family in this special event. Congratulations to our last group of SHINE students for this year. These students shared God's love by helping pick up in the classroom, working hard in class, showing care for an injured student, helping organize in the classroom, helping in the library, and having a good attitude. Congratulations to these students! For all our students, continue to share God's love and shine your light for Him!

Today we were able to recognize these former St. John Eagles at the East Noble (and more!) Senior Walk. It was great to see all of these former students now graduating from East Noble, Central Noble, Lakewood Park, and Oak Farm. We're proud of them all! It was also great to see a number of their parents and several former teachers and staff members. We pray God's blessings on these young men and women as they head to the workforce or college. Continue to let your light shine!

Thanks to Mr. Wendt for leading chapel this morning. He focused on our school theme for this year, Praise the Lord. He reminded us that we are to Praise the Lord for all kinds of things, including our school, our teachers, our parents, our families, and more. Our 6th grade and 7th/8th grade guitar groups also helped led the music.

Congratulations to this week's SHINE students. They were recognized for sharing with friends, picking up trash, organizing the classroom, working hard, being a leader, showing honesty, and for being a good friend. In addition to these students, we recognized the 1st and 2nd grade classes for their excellent behavior on their field trip. Keep up the good work!
