Charis Women’s Conference

Hello, friends!
As we prepare for our upcoming ROOTED conferences, we would love to invite you to pray with us as we plan.
Please pray for wisdom in every decision, God’s provision for the funding and resources needed, and the women He is preparing to bring.
Our hope is that every detail will serve one purpose: helping women become more deeply rooted in Christ.
When ROOTED comes to mind, would you pause and pray with us? Maybe even set a reminder on your phone! Your prayers mean so much.
With gratitude,
Your Charis Women Team

Something to consider praying is our Nation and what God may do as His Word is read in DC.

As the United States approaches its historic 250th anniversary, a powerful movement is stirring in the heart of the nation’s capital. Actress and producer Candace Cameron Bure has stepped into the spotlight as a national spokesperson for America Reads the Bible, a landmark event designed to realign the country with its spiritual roots.

From April 18–25, 2026, the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., will become a sanctuary for the Word. Over seven days and 84 hours, the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—will be read aloud by a diverse group of over 400 leaders, including elected officials, athletes, and celebrities.

'The Bible has changed my life,' Bure shared in a recent interview. 'We are uniting the body of Christ across every denomination and generation to share the experience of Scripture. This is about cultivating a love for God’s Word in every sphere of American life.'

Inspired by the biblical prophet Ezra, who read the Law to Israel during a time of rebuilding, organizers describe the event as a 'spiritual lead-up' to the national birthday. Beyond the reading, the gathering will feature worship, prayer, and a focused plea for revival in families and communities across the land.

The goal is clear: a public declaration that Scripture still speaks and that God’s truth is the only foundation for a nation in search of healing. For those participating, it is not just a ceremony—it is a reawakening.

Details are in the comments.
