What is the Kempner Church of Christ?

What is the Church of Christ, and how is it different from denominations? In this short Bible lesson, we explain why the Church of Christ is not a denomination, why the New Testament alone is our authority, and how the church today is the same church described in Scripture.

Using the Bible’s seed principle from Luke 8.11 and Matthew 13, this video shows how planting the Word of God produces the same fruit in every age. Learn what the Bible teaches about Christian unity, autonomy of congregations, and restoring New Testament Christianity.

🎉 Happy New Year from the Kempner church of Christ! 🎉

As we step into a new year, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness, His grace, and the many blessings He has poured out upon us. Another year means new opportunities—to grow in faith, to deepen our love for one another, and to shine the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs hope.

The psalmist reminds us, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). Each day of this new year is a gift from God—an opportunity to walk more closely with Him, to serve others, and to live lives that honor His name.

As we begin this year, let us resolve to:

-Seek God first in all things (Matthew 6:33)
-Grow in knowledge of His Word (2 Peter 3:18)
-Love one another fervently (John 13:34–35)
-Share the gospel with courage and compassion (Romans 1:16)

We invite you to worship and study with us as we strive to follow Christ according to the New Testament pattern. May this new year be filled with faith, peace, spiritual growth, and opportunities to glorify God.

🙏 Happy New Year! May the Lord bless you and keep you throughout the year ahead.
