🙏 Fall Revival Prayer Initiative — Week 1

Revival doesn’t begin in a service—it begins in surrendered hearts.

As we prepare for October 4–7, we’re asking God to search our hearts, expose anything that needs to be surrendered, and give us a fresh hunger for His presence.

This week, let’s pray: “Lord, begin Your work in me.”

What an incredible first Wednesday night back! 🙌

There’s just something special about gathering together in the middle of the week—sharing a meal, opening God’s Word, and doing life together.

We had a great turnout, full tables, full classrooms, and most importantly, full hearts! We’re so thankful for what God is doing at Calvary and excited about all that’s ahead.

Wednesday nights are back, and we’re just getting started! To God be the glory! 🙏

What an incredible day at church yesterday! 🙌

We had a full house and full hearts! KJ gave his life to Jesus and followed Him in believers’ baptism, and Paul led us into the throne room as we lifted our voices in worship.

Jesus is still saving, changing, and transforming lives!

What a privilege to gather with God’s people and celebrate what He is doing.

To God be all the glory!

Has attending church become a routine for you?

You show up. Sit down. Sing a few songs. Hear a sermon. Walk out. Repeat.

But if church has become nothing more than a weekly routine, something needs to change.

Don’t just attend church—engage with other believers. Come hungry for the Word. Come ready to worship. Come ready to serve. Come ready to encourage someone.

Don’t just go to church this Sunday. Come expecting God to change you!

Church isn’t just somewhere we go—it’s a people we gather with.

We worship together. We encourage one another. We hear the Word together. We pray together. And sometimes, simply being with God’s people is exactly what our hearts need.

Hebrews 10:25 reminds us not to neglect gathering together.

So whatever kind of week you’ve had, make plans to be in church this Sunday. Your presence matters, and you never know who might need the encouragement that your presence brings.

Let’s gather. Let’s worship. Let’s grow.

Here are 5 simple ways to get ready for Sunday:

1. Read the Bible — Spend a few minutes in God’s Word. 📖

2. Pray — Ask God to prepare your heart to hear from Him. 🙏

3. Forgive — Don’t carry bitterness into worship. ❤️

4. Plan ahead — Get things ready Saturday so Sunday isn’t rushed. ⏰️

5. Invite someone — Think of one person who could use a place to belong. 👥️

Let’s come ready—not just to sit in a service, but to meet with God and encourage one another.
