Kelseyville United Methodist Church We believe in Jesus Christ as our saviour, We believe we should love God, ourselves and one another, seek justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God.

KUMC is a small but vital church that has served the Kelseyville community since the 1800's. CLM Claudia Listman is pastor of the church. The KUMC Thrift Shop (open on Monday's from 9-2) serves the community and supports the church and its projects in the community. The shop keeps its prices low to serve those who can not afford the retail stores for their basic needs. A small food cupboard is kep

t to provide staples to those who are hungry. In addition the church's facility is used by local not-for-profit groups. The church also participates in the various community events that occur on Main Street during the year, serving as the home of the annual Quilt Show during the Pear Festival and serving hot chocolate and cookies during the Festival of Lights. Although the exact date that the "congregation" came into being is not known, the purchase of the church's property pre-dates the mapping of the town of Kelseyville in 1871.
