Did you know?

The church season of Advent begins this Sunday (always four Sundays before Christmas), and during this season, we decorate with the color blue---for HOPE.
"Advent" means coming, or arrival; during this season, we pray earnestly for the coming of the reign of Christ---peace on earth and goodwill to all.

You're welcome to join us in prayer and worship at 10 a.m. any Sunday. We even sneak some Christmas carol tunes into our Communion service. 😉

This is our Thanksgiving gathering this year: a painting party, to help get our Resilience Center ready to welcome our neighbors in good times and bad!

Wear your painting clothes, and think about what kind of pizza you want for lunch!
Youth are welcome: they can earn Community Service hours, and should be accompanied by an adult buddy.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving (this Saturday, Nov 29th):
10 AM - 2 PM in the Galilee Community Center
with FREE PIZZA lunch provided to all volunteers
8870 Soda Bay Rd, Kelseyville, CA 95451

Look what Galilee friend John did for our outdoor benches: he gave them a power-wash facelift! ❤️ Beautiful.
Now they need stain. If you'd like to help, e-mail or call the church office, and we'll get you set up.

If you like pizza and camaraderie, there's also a work party coming up over Thanksgiving weekend: Saturday, November 29th from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in our Resilience (Community) Center. Wear your painting clothes! Community Service hours are available for high schoolers. 🤗

An evening experience of Wild Church on the peaceful labyrinth and grounds of Galilee Lutheran Church, in the shadow of Mt. Konocti near the shore of Clear Lake. A chance to listen and restore connection to the land and its creatures. We will meet outside for a while, weather permitting (seating and water available). NO SERMON! 😂The event will be followed at 6:00 p.m. by a potluck meal in Galilee's Community Center. Everyone is welcome!
Bring a dish to share if you can; if you can't, come anyway.

This event is part of the "Pilgrims of Hope for Creation" movement---even though we're not Roman Catholic!

Cozy up at home with your dinner, your pets, your PJs---whatever you need. Your video can be on or off; we'd love to have your company, either way. Please feel free to share this link with interested friends and neighbors:
