The Kellogg Township trustees are aware of the mowing issue at Our Silent Cemetery and are taking steps to resolve them. Recent heavy rain and high temperatures have accelerated grass growth. We are coordinating with the mowing team to address this as quickly as possible.

Kellogg American Legion will be putting out flags at cemetery on Wednesday 5-20 at 4....Please come help if you can!!

Our Silent Cemetery, located at 2396 Hwy 224 North, Kellogg, IA 50135, is seeking bids for mowing services. Contract for the 2026 season will be from April 1, 2026, to November 15, 2026. Area covers 8.81 acres or 38,764 square feet

Mowing weekly as needed and trimming every other mowing is required. Memorial stones must be kept clean and tidy; grass clippings must be blown or swept from stones and memorials if grass is blown on them. Coordinating with Sue before Memorial Day and Labor Day is also required. Interested parties must provide three references and proof of liability insurance of $1,000,000. Bid submission must be received by February 25, 2026.
