The world feels like a sinking ship. The waves of culture and chaos crash over the side, and it seems like the storm might win. But we serve the Master of the Wind.
While the disciples were frantic, Jesus was at rest. He didn't just survive the storm; He commanded it. His voice carries more weight than the loudest thunder and more authority than the fiercest gale. When your heart feels like a hurricane, remember who is in your boat. He isn’t worried, so you don’t have to be.
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:39 (KJV)
Take a breath. Lean in. Let the Word speak to the parts of your life that feel out of control.
What "storm" are you facing today that needs His peace?
Your practical step for today: Take two minutes in total silence. Name your biggest worry, then audibly speak "Peace, be still" over it, trusting His authority.
For Christ and Country.
