Sunday School is back at St. Martin's and we have something for everyone this fall.

Here is what is happening every Sunday at 9:30 am...

👶 For the little ones, our nursery welcomes children from birth through age 3 in the parish hall building. It is a warm, loving, wonderful place for your youngest to begin their faith journey.

🌿 Pre-K through 3rd grade heads to Godly Play, where kids explore sacred stories, parables, and holy communion lessons through storytelling, wondering questions, and a little craft time. And yes, there is a snack.

🎨 4th and 5th graders (and any tweens/teens looking for something different) are invited to Art Club in the youth room, where faith comes alive through painting, drawing, and service projects.

📖 For adults, Lectionary Study meets in the large conference room for a close reading of the upcoming Sunday's scripture.

🙏 And this fall's Forum class is a tour of the Book of Common Prayer. It also serves as Confirmation prep for anyone exploring that step.

Everything starts at 9:30 am this Sunday. Come learn, wonder, and grow with us.

Church at 4pm on Sunday...but make it competitive.

We are gathering for Evening Prayer followed immediately by Game Night in the Parish Hall.

Ancient liturgy. Snacks. Friendly competition. Possibly some trash talk. All of it counts as fellowship.

Bring your favorite game. Bring a snack to share if you can. Bring your competitive spirit but maybe leave your ego at the door.

Every first Sunday at 4pm. We will save you a seat.

Last week St. Martin's clergy joined faith leaders as part of the North Fort Worth Interfaith Council, where we gathered with friends at the Gurdwara Sikh Sangat, the Sikh Temple in our community.

This council brings together clergy and faith leaders from Christian churches of many traditions, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and other faith communities across our region. We gather quarterly to build relationships, share resources, and work together for the good of our neighbors.

There is something powerful about sitting with people who worship differently than you do and discovering how much you share: a love of neighbor, a commitment to justice, and a desire to serve the community we all call home.

We are grateful to be part of this council and grateful for the witness of the Sikh community who welcomed us so warmly into their space.

What a Sunday at St. Martin’s! ✝️🐊

We worshipped together this morning, and the Welcome Back Bash was everything.

The Fort Worth Nature Center (Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge) brought out an alligator demonstration that had every single person, kids and adults alike, completely captivated. Our hospitality ministry showed up beautifully with lunch and treats, and The Wright Cake Pop (The Wright Cake Pop) brought some seriously incredible cake pops to the party.

Next week, Sunday school and Christian formation for all ages kicks off!

Here’s to a great new school year, St. Martin’s.

Some of our Stephen Ministers are in Dallas today for the Stephen Ministries 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers who walk alongside people going through some of life’s hardest moments. Grief, illness, divorce, job loss, loneliness. Whatever the struggle, a Stephen Minister shows up and listens with a caring, confidential, and compassionate presence.

We are grateful for fifty years of this ministry and for the dedicated men and women at St. Martin’s who give their time and hearts to care for their neighbors.
