Where are your eyes fixed today? In our journey through life, it's easy to become overwhelmed by circumstances, feeling alone in the struggle. But Psalm 123 reminds us to lift our eyes beyond our present difficulties—beyond even the hills—straight to our Father who is enthroned in heaven.

This week we explored a powerful truth: God's mercy is compassion in motion. Just as servants look to the hand of their master, we look to the Lord who sees us, knows us, and loves us intimately. He doesn't just observe our struggles from a distance—He's actively involved in every detail of our lives.

When we truly recognize where we are and who God is, we discover what we really need: His mercy and grace. The same God who stayed His wrath and sent Jesus to die for us continues to offer forgiveness and restoration today. Whether you're walking through deep waters or standing on solid ground, remember—your future with Christ is always brighter than your present.

Where does your help come from? In a world full of distractions and struggles, it's easy to keep our eyes fixed on the problems right in front of us. But Psalm 121 reminds us to lift our gaze higher—to the One who made heaven and earth.

This week we began a new summer series in the Psalms of Ascent, ancient songs God's people sang as they journeyed to worship. The message is clear: The Lord is YOUR keeper. He keeps you stabilized when life shakes. He keeps you close—shading your right hand. He keeps you covered day and night. And He keeps you now and forever.

You're not damaged goods. You're not too far gone. God is intimately involved in every detail of YOUR life, using even the messy moments to make you more like Jesus and shine His light into darkness. The Maker of heaven and earth has moved heaven and earth to bring you close.
