UPDATE: We are currently at $1830 of $10,000

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow! Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 or more for our general fund for our day to day expenses that have been impacted greatly by the exchange rate. Pray for our friends in Haiti, especially our family at Wholehearted Home. There has been rioting all week because of the reoccurring fuel shortages. Even when people can safely travel around, there is little to no fuel to be found. This is devastating in a country where the electrical grid is unreliable & most people rely on generators to provide their basic electrical needs.

Boss Monte tag teamed driving duties with Frantzdy this morning to get us to the airport. Our next stop is JFK in New York & hopefully back in Portland tomorrow morning.

Settling into bed for our 4th night in Haiti & we are all pretty tired!

We went to church at HCM yesterday & spent a good chunk of the rest of the day relaxing with our Wholehearted friends. Well, some of us relaxed while Monte & Sam worked on some screen door repairs.

We all kept busy today, working on projects around the house. Monte & Sam built a wooden vanity for one of the bathrooms, while the rest of us worked on organizing & painting projects.

Jolene has been making us think every night with a group devotion time for our team on the family here at Wholehearted.

I can't wait to see what the rest of the trip brings!
