Our flags are in for all our Veterans at Evergreen Cemetery. Please have a wonderful weekend and remember our heroes by visiting their resting place. We kindly ask you not to park on the grass in our cemetery. Please park on the dirt roads at all times.

Our 2nd Annual fundraiser is scheduled for June 13th, 3:00-6:00pm at the VFW in Keeseville. We hope to see you there. If you are interested in purchasing our raffle tickets, they are $10 each. There will be 3 prizes to win: $500, $300 & $200. Get your tickets ahead of time by reaching out to Nancy Sucharski at 518-335-9546 or the day of the event. Winners will be drawn at 5:45pm the day of the event.

Another day at the cemetery, preparing for a service on Wednesday. We have some hedge trees coming down and a new fence will be placed in its spot. Pardon us for the eyesore while we make this transition. It’s very contained but still a change. The trees are budding. Soon we will be mowing. Come on summer! We can’t wait to see you. ❤️

Sandi, Maxine and I spent the afternoon at the cemetery yesterday while a headstone was being installed. The cemetery looks good. We did have a little winter destruction but nothing crazy. It was great to see a few cars in the cemetery checking things out! Come on April rain to get some May flowers 🌺

Spring is here! The gates are open at the 1816 Main St and 20 Grove St. entrances. Please notify us if anything needs our immediate attention.

Happy Holidays! We have officially closed the car gates to both entrances to the cemetery but please remember the walk-in gates on the side will remain open so you can visit your loved ones at anytime during the daylight hours. We are available via email, Facebook or cell phones if anyone needs to get in touch with us over the winter months.

Our annual Evergreen Cemetery Meeting will be this Saturday, August 2nd at 10:00am at the chapel in the cemetery. We are inviting all who would be interested in attending and see what is happening with our beautiful cemetery and to give us some new ideas to make the cemetery an even better place. We welcome all ideas and together we can discuss the potential of growth and continued beautification. This cemetery is the final resting place for past residents of the Town of AuSable and the Town of Chesterfield. If we go back a few generations, I am sure each and every one of us has a family member buried here. We must continue sharing their history and keep our memories alive.

Come on over to the Keeseville VFW today from 1:00pm - 6:00pm for the fundraiser for Evergreen Cemetery Association. We have 23 gift baskets for raffle, 8 silent auction items to include custom made corn hole boards by Steve Fuller, 1 year of weekly local garbage pickup, golf bag with 4 person Harmony green fees including cart, outdoor gazebo with patio lights, large dog basket with bed and accessories and much more. We also have a scratch off Lottery tree and 10-$25 gift cards basket for raffle. Don’t forget the BBQ chicken dinner for $12 eat-in or $13 take-out. Stop on over for the fundraiser!
