Meet Emily Weaver! Emily is our Afterglow and Service day coordinator! She is a huge Dallas Stars fan and a wonderful mom to her fur babies! But most importantly, Emily loves using her talents by getting involved not only in SLAD, but in Elevate and the Keene Church as well!

Meet Danny Verdugo! Danny is our Vespers Coordinator here on SLAD! He loves getting to know people and enjoys playing baseball, but most of all, he loves sharing his love for Jesus with others!

If you want to be involved with vespers or ministry, don’t hesitate to reach out the Danny! We are so grateful for all of his commitment to our team!

Last weekend we had our first SWAY of the semester! We enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship and painting! Thank you to all those that joined us and we can’t wait for more to come!

Happiest of Sabbaths SWAU family! It is such a blessing to be back on campus after the long break! Last night we had our first vespers of 2021 and we were blessed with Pr. Russ’s message about pursuing eternity to live with God forever!

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

This week we are half way done with Week of Prayer! We are so thankful and blessed by the message and testimonies our students have preached to us! God is working in wonderful ways on our campus! We are looking forward to the rest of the week and the powerful messages that will come along with it! In all that we do, SWAU family, let us always find a way to pursue Christ!

Happy Sabbath SWAU family! As we wrap up our second week of school, we have gathered again for vespers. Chaplain April brought us a powerful message tonight! Even when we feel that God has left us in exile, let us remember that His plans are greater! He has a calling for us! In our deepest and lowest moments, He takes them and uses them for wonders!

Tonight for Wednesday Knight’s Worship we'll be reflecting on how God can bring blessings out of bad situations.

Joseph was sold as a slave and suffered, but in the end as he spoke with his brothers who had originally sold him he said to them, "You meant to hurt me, but God turned your evil into good to save the lives of many people, which is being done."

God can bring blessings out of bad situations. How has he done that in your life? We invite you to share so we can comfort others during their struggles.
