God is good! The parking lot is full and our first retreat of 2022 is underway. The day is cold, but the soup is hot, and our kitchen staff is looking excited to be busy! They're also praying for a fruitful and peaceful time away for our intrepid retreatants.

It was a nice wintry day for a dip in the Opequon Creek on New Year's Day! Runners and walkers of all ages completed the 3 Mile/1 Mile course through the woods, then took a Polar Plunge!

The renovation of All Souls Chapel is ongoing! Here are some behind-the-scenes pictures of the chapel. The floor and ceiling will be replaced with hardwood.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for the Work Off the Turkey Trot at Saint James the Greater Roman Catholic Church organized by St. James Thunder Cross Country Team! Around 50 participants ran or walked (or trotted!) the events, raising a total of $1335 for Priest Field!

As Deacon Dave announced at the start of the event, the next run will be on New Year's Day at Priest Field and it will include a team running event, a walking option, and an (optional) polar plunge (!) to deduct total running time. Look for future details soon!

Thanks again to everybody who turned out, and especially to Angelique Marie for organizing!
