Giving blood saves lives and there is a current shortage in our area! The Far West Stake is hosting a blood drive on Sept. 12th at the Kearney building, 202 W 19th ST, Kearney, MO. The schedule and more details are forthcoming.

Relief Society Activity Night - “Gifts of Love” Service Auction
Thursday, March 1, 7pm

We will be holding a service auction this Thursday evening. This activity gives us a chance to get to know each other better through sharing our talents and serving each other.
Please bring a good or service to donate that evening. Examples of service could include; donate a haircut, wash windows, bake cookies, babysitting, make hair bows, donate a meal, or homemade bread…the sky’s the limit.

You can either bring your item that night or offer your service to be redeemed within two months – by May 1st.
We will provide service certificates that you can fill out at the auction.

Bringing an item to the auction is not required. Just come visit with us.

A couple of ways to earn points for the auction: bring a friend or less-active sister and earn 50 points. You can also return a filled Food Pantry bag that evening to earn 50 points.
Plus, there will be a way to earn extra points that night.
Come show your love for the sisters in the ward.
Child care will be provided.

Bon Voyage to Sister Emily Purdy! Emily left for 18 months to serve a mission in the London, England area. We will miss her, but we are so excited for her to serve The Lord at this time in her life. We know that she will touch lives and bring joy to those she serves! We love you Sister Purdy!

Some of the youth took a trip up to Adam-ondi-Ahman for a picnic and to enjoy the scenery. They had a great time learning and enjoying the scenery.
