This summer's First Kids VBS 2026 is called Kingdom Quest! On July 12-15th from 6:00-8:00 p.m., children age 4 (by July 1) through 5th grade graduates of the 2025/2026 school year are welcome to join us on an epic journey to discover God's Kingdom. As we travel through different world's, John 8:12 will help us follow the light and learn that Jesus is the way. Get ready for an epic adventure that will be out of this world!

Pedalin' Proverbs Group Ride
July 5, 2026 at 2:00-3:00pm

Meet at Kearney high school parking lot at 2pm to ride the 5 mile-ish paved trail. All abilities welcome and cold drinks and popsicles await when we finish!

THE RAYTOWN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE APPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL ROGERS AS THE NEXT FIRE CHIEF OF THE RAYTOWN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.

AFTER SERVING AS INTERIM FIRE CHIEF SINCE MARCH, CHIEF ROGERS WAS UNANIMOUSLY SELECTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO LEAD THE DISTRICT MOVING FORWARD.

Kearney Food Pantry
June 14-28, 2026 Food Collection
June 28, 2026 at 2:00pm Bike Ride

🚲🥫 Join Us in Supporting the Kearney Food Pantry! 🥫🚲

We’re excited to partner together for two meaningful opportunities to serve our community!

📍 Donation Drive at Church
From June 14–28, 2026, we will be collecting the items listed on the attached flyer in the church lobby. Donations will be delivered to the Kearney Food Pantry the following week.

📍 Bike Ride & Pantry Tour
Church members, friends, and family are invited to gather at the Kearney Food Pantry on June 28th at 2:00pm for a community bike ride to Price Chopper! Riders will travel together while a few volunteers with vehicles help transport donated items back to the pantry. Afterward, participants will return to the pantry to deliver donations and enjoy a tour of the facility.

We would love for you to join us for this fun and impactful event! Please use the RSVP link below so we can get an accurate head count for participants.

🚴‍♂️ It Never Gets Easier. You Just Get Faster.

When life gets hard, it's easy to wonder why the road still feels uphill. Shouldn't experience make things easier? Shouldn't faith remove the challenges?

This Sunday we'll begin our new series, Pedaling Proverbs, by exploring a surprising truth from the book of Proverbs: wisdom isn't about arriving—it's about continuing to grow.

Just as cyclists become stronger through miles of effort, followers of Jesus grow stronger through a lifetime of trusting God, learning, and pressing forward.

Join us as we discover why the goal isn't an easier life, but a stronger faith.

This Father’s Day, celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, mentors, and father figures who make a difference every day.

Join us on Sunday, June 21st for a special Father’s Day service where we will start a new sermon series “Pedaling Proverbs”..

After service, stick around for an awesome family barbecue with great food, fun, and time together. Bring your kids, invite your friends, and come make memories.

So, come celebrate Father’s Day this June 21st — worship together, eat together, and enjoy a great day with family and friends.
