This Week in the life of Becker Methodist Church

~No LAMM meeting for September.

~Join us in the Becker Methodist Sanctuary for coffee and donuts this Sunday at 9 am.

~Join us on Sunday, September 6th at 9:30 am for Worship in the Becker Sanctuary as Pastor Jim brings a lesson from Romans 1. Hope to see you there.

~Immediately following Worship, we will continue our book study “Discover Your Spiritual Gifts” by C. Peter Wagner. We will cover the fifth chapter this Sunday. Study guides are available in the sanctuary.

A look ahead…

~Widow and widowers’ luncheon will be held September 16th at 10:30 at the Kemp Methodist Fellowship Hall. Contact Norma Liggins for more information.

~Becker Women’s Luncheon will be on September 27th at 12:30 at Billito’s Italian Restaurant in Gun Barrel City.

Community Events…….

~Kemp Homecoming 2026 is October 1-3. The next organizational meeting will be September 13th at 2 pm at the Harmony Bank Community Room.

~The Kemp Fire Department Fish Fry Fundraiser is Saturday, Oct. 17, 4p-8p
