Today was a very successful house party Sunday!! We got to gather in our GO groups, worship together, pray together and eat together. Today was a beautiful reminder that where we meet is simply the building but WE are the church. Happy Sunday🩵

What are you really looking for?

We spend so much of life looking for the next thing - a better relationship, more success, greater security, an answer to our problems, or simply a place where we belong. But what if the deepest need of our soul isn't something God can give us?

What if it's God Himself?

In this message from Go Church in Katy, Texas, we explore three simple but powerful ways to live out our faith: BELONG, HONOR, and SEEK.

BELONG - We were never created to follow Jesus alone. The early church gathered publicly and from house to house, sharing life, eating together, worshiping together, and growing together. Church isn't simply a place we attend. It's a family where we can be known, loved, challenged, and encouraged.

HONOR - Scripture calls us to give honor where honor is due. We honor the people who have invested in us, served faithfully, led well, and helped build what we are part of today. Honor allows us to recognize what God has done through others while blessing what He is going to do next.

SEEK - Ultimately, our greatest need isn't God's hand—it's His face. We can spend so much time asking God for His blessings, His answers, and His help that we forget to seek His presence. Psalm 27 reminds us of the invitation: “Seek My face.”

The question is simple: Do you want what God can give you, or do you want God Himself?

This message will challenge you to:

-Find meaningful Christian community
-Build relationships where you can truly belong
-Learn the biblical importance of honoring others
-Stop pursuing only God's blessings and begin pursuing God's presence
-Seek God for who He is, not only for what He can do
-Take a deeper step toward knowing Jesus

At Go Church in Katy, Texas, our mission is simple: LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. REACH PEOPLE. DISCIPLE PEOPLE.

We believe following Jesus means more than attending a Sunday service. It's about becoming part of a community, loving people well, growing as disciples, and ultimately learning to know and pursue God Himself.

So wherever you are in your faith journey, we invite you to take the next step:

BELONG.
HONOR.
SEEK HIS FACE.

We can spend so much time building things around us - homes, careers, churches, ministries, relationships, and plans for the future. But Scripture reminds us that the most important thing God is building isn't a building.

He's building a people.

In this message from Go Church in Katy, Texas, we celebrate what God is doing through our new building while remembering something even more important: we are the Church.

The walls, stages, rooms, and facilities are important, but they are not the ultimate mission. God is building His Kingdom through transformed lives.

Drawing from Psalm 127:1, Psalm 119:11, 1 Peter 2:5, Isaiah 40:8, and Ephesians 2:10, this message explores four prayers for what God is building:

1. LORD, BUILD YOUR HOUSE
We can plan, work, give, sacrifice, and build, but God is ultimately the One who builds His Kingdom.

2. LORD, LET OUR WORDS CONVEY YOUR TRUTH
What we write, say, and believe matters. God's Word stands forever, and His truth should shape our lives.

3. LORD, MAY WE BE A LIVING STONE
The greatest construction project isn't happening in the walls around us. It's happening in us. God restores broken lives, sets people free, draws people near, and transforms ordinary people into instruments for His Kingdom.

4. LORD, LET THE WALLS PREACH
May everything about this building point people toward Jesus - His faithfulness, His salvation, His freedom, His hope, and His mission.

At Go Church, our mission is simple: LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. REACH PEOPLE. DISCIPLE PEOPLE.

We don't want to simply build a beautiful facility. We want to see lives transformed, families strengthened, people equipped, and disciples sent into the world to make a difference for Jesus.

So the question isn't just:

“What are we building?”

The better question is:

“What is God building in me?”

What if going to church was never supposed to be the finish line?

Jesus didn't just gather crowds, He developed disciples. Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus minister to the crowd, invest deeply in community, and develop a core of people who would carry His mission into the world.

In this message, we look at three ways we can grow in our walk with Jesus: THE CROWD, THE COMMUNITY, and THE CORE.

The crowd is where we hear God's Word and worship together. Community is where we build authentic relationships, open the Word together, ask questions, pray for one another, and become known. The core is where disciples are equipped, developed, and sent to make disciples.

Following Jesus was never meant to be a spectator sport.

Transformation happens through relationships.

This message will challenge you to ask:

- Am I simply attending, or am I truly following Jesus?
- Who am I allowing to influence and shape my life?
- Who knows me well enough to encourage and challenge me?
- Who am I investing in?
- Who will be stronger in Jesus because I invested in them?

At Go Church in Katy, Texas, our mission is simple: LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. REACH PEOPLE. DISCIPLE PEOPLE.

We believe the church is more than a Sunday gathering. We are called to be family, to grow together, to discover our God-given gifts and purpose, and to go into our world to love, reach, and disciple people for Jesus.

Whether you're new to church, have been following Jesus for years, or feel like you're somewhere in between, this message will challenge you to take your next step from the crowd, into community, and ultimately into a life of discipleship and mission.
